In our one-day Amasra tour departing from Ankara, we experience history, culture, and nature all in one place. We visit the Kuş Kayası Road Monument from the Roman era and Bakacak Tepesi, and explore Amasra Castle, Boztepe, and the houses inside the castle with a professional guide. During the free time at Çekiciler Çarşısı, you can taste the flavors of Amasra cuisine or swim in the sea if you wish.
We depart at 07:00 from in front of Kızılay Yapı Kredi (across from Kızılay AVM). Then, at 07:15 we pick up our guests at the metro exit of the National Library (in front of the kiosk), at 07:20 in front of Armada AVM (next to the Çapa Statue), and at 07:30 across from Optimum AVM, after which we begin our journey with our breakfast packages.
After our in-car breakfast package, we take a short break at a rest stop along the road to use the restroom.
We will arrive in Amasra at 11:30.
At Kuş Kayası, which dates back to the Roman period and is the only road monument in Turkey, we take a short photo break with views of the sea, forests, and Amasra.
On Bakacak Tepesi, the spot where Fatih Sultan Mehmet first saw Amasra, we learn about Amasra from our guide.
After meeting our guide, we visit the following places:
We allocate free time for shopping and lunch at Amasra’s famous Çekiciler Bazaar. Optionally, you can take a boat tour. If you wish, you can swim at the Büyük Liman Beach during your free time.
We complete our tour and leave Amasra. After taking the necessary stops along the way, we arrive in Ankara around 22:30-23:00.
